No. Voters join with a link or a join code. We use fingerprint rate limits so results stay fair without login friction.

Yes. PollsLive is hosted in the EU, traffic is encrypted, and we collect as little as possible. You can export or delete your data yourself in Studio → Account & privacy. See our Security and Privacy pages for details.

No student accounts or app installs. Students join with a code or QR on any phone or laptop. The free tier (3 polls, 500 responses each) fits most classes.

All data is stored on our EU-based Hostinger VPS, behind Cloudflare. We don't use US-based cloud providers for user data.

Yes. We collect minimal data: email for your account, fingerprint-based duplicate-vote prevention for voters (no PII). You can export and delete your data in Studio → Settings. See our Privacy Policy for the full picture.

By default, votes are stored with a browser fingerprint only (no name, no email). You can optionally ask participants for a display name. See our anonymous voting guide for details.

Yes. If you find a vulnerability, email [email protected]. We follow coordinated disclosure and appreciate all reports.

No. You can create a guest poll at pollslive.com without signing up. Create an account later to claim it and keep it permanently.

Go to Studio → Billing → Manage subscription. Cancel anytime — you keep Pro until the end of your paid period, then drop to free. No cancellation fees.

Yes. Requests within 30 days of payment are eligible for a full refund — no questions asked. Use the self-serve refund form in Studio → Billing, or email [email protected].

Every poll has a CSV export button in Studio. You can also use the REST API to pull results programmatically. Full account data export (GDPR Article 20) is available in Studio → Settings → Export my data.
