5 de noviembre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 5 de noviembre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Refund Policy, Dpa

  • PollsLive no longer offers an Enterprise plan, so the Refund Policy no longer has a section about Enterprise agreements and the Data Processing Addendum no longer mentions an enterprise assessment.

4 de noviembre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 4 de noviembre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Terms And Conditions, Refund Policy, Legal Notice

  • The Terms, Refund Policy and Legal Notice now say plainly that A Plus Apps, trading as PollsLive, is the seller of every plan and is responsible for your purchase, refunds and consumer rights. Whop processes payments and, for buyers in the EU, the UK and the US, charges and pays the VAT or sales tax due.
  • The accessibility statement says we are extending our testing to WCAG 2.2 level AA.
  • New pages explain how PollsLive uses AI, what happens to students' answers in class, and how our terms apply to organisations.

4 de noviembre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 4 de noviembre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Refund Policy

  • The 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid charge now applies unless you have hosted a live session with more than 50 participants, the size of a free room. It was 10.
  • The French Refund Policy now says, as the other languages do, that a refund inside the 14-day window ends paid access straight away.

4 de noviembre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 4 de noviembre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Terms And Conditions, Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use, Dpa

  • The Terms say that our liability for gross negligence cannot be excluded, that consumers who paid for an event that could not run because of us keep their remedy, and that AI requests go only to providers that do not keep or train on prompts. They add the rules a host follows when running a prize draw or collecting leads.
  • The Acceptable Use Policy explains how we confirm reports, give reasons when we remove content or suspend an account, and handle appeals.
  • The Data Processing Agreement commits to breach notice within 48 hours, 30 days' advance notice of a new sub-processor for every customer, and deletion within 30 days of closing a workspace.
  • The Privacy Policy adds a section for people who answer polls, the legal basis for each purpose, and retention periods for lead-capture details, Pulse conversations and news sign-ups.

3 de noviembre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 3 de noviembre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Dpa

  • The Cookie Policy lists the current names of the sign-in cookies and says they are sent only to pollslive.com itself, never to its subdomains.
  • The Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and Data Processing Agreement describe our hosting, backups, security updates and duplicate-vote protection in plainer terms. What we collect, why, and how long we keep it have not changed.

1 de noviembre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 1 de noviembre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Cookie Policy, Privacy Policy

  • The Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy say that local storage also keeps your editing work on your device: a draft you started before signing in, and changes to a deck that have not reached our servers yet. They are removed once saved and expire after 7 days (24 hours for a draft started before signing in).

30 de octubre de 2026: Sustancial

En vigor desde el 30 de noviembre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Terms And Conditions, Dpa

  • Business customers: our total liability for all claims together, on any legal ground, is capped at the fees you or your workspace paid for PollsLive (to us or to Whop on our behalf, excluding VAT) in the 12 months before the first event that caused it, or €50 if you paid nothing. Connected events count as one.
  • Business customers: we are liable only for direct damage as defined in the Terms, only after a written notice of default with at least 14 days to fix the problem, and only if you report the damage within 30 days of discovering it. Claims lapse 12 months after the event unless proceedings have started.
  • Business customers outside the EU and EEA: disputes go to arbitration under the rules of the Netherlands Arbitration Institute (NAI) in Rotterdam, in English, instead of to the Rotterdam court. Business customers also waive jury trials and class or collective actions.
  • The Data Processing Agreement now says that our liability for sub-processors falls under the same cap. Nothing changes for consumers: your statutory rights and limitation periods are unaffected.

24 de octubre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 24 de octubre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Privacy Policy

  • The Privacy Policy describes sign-ups for PollsLive product news, from the site footer or the optional, unticked box on an event feedback survey: what we store, the confirmation email, and that the survey's organizer does not see the choice.
  • The lead capture section says contact details are stored only when the respondent ticks the consent box, and that lead capture is on by default for the event feedback survey sent after a live session, on plans that include it.

22 de octubre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 22 de octubre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy

  • The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy list only the services PollsLive uses in production. OpenRouter is named as our AI provider, with a note that a free model's provider applies its own data terms, and Plausible and the unused AI and monitoring providers are removed.
  • The international transfers section names each provider outside the EEA and the safeguard we rely on.
  • If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of sale and sharing and keep analytics and the Whop Pixel off.

10 de octubre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 10 de octubre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Cookie Policy, Privacy Policy

  • The Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy now list the Whop Pixel, which measures where buyers of a paid plan came from. It loads only after you accept analytics in the consent banner; rejecting analytics keeps it off, and that choice is also your opt-out of sharing under US state privacy laws.

10 de octubre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 10 de octubre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Terms And Conditions, Refund Policy

  • The Terms now say who you are contracting with: A Plus Apps (KVK 42117052), Rotterdam, the Netherlands, trading as PollsLive. They also explain that your purchase and payment contract for a paid plan is with Whop as merchant of record, and your contract for using the Service is with us.
  • Consumers whose subscription has renewed for a further annual term can end it at any time on one month's notice and are refunded the unused part. We email account holders about 30 days before an annual renewal.
  • If we ever end your subscription for our own reasons, we give at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of a prepaid term. Raising a chargeback is no longer listed as abuse; we may pause paid features while a disputed charge is investigated.
  • The indemnity for collecting forbidden regulated data no longer claims to apply beyond what consumer law allows. Disputes with business customers go to the District Court of Rotterdam; consumers keep the courts and protections of their own country.

24 de septiembre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 24 de septiembre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Refund Policy, Terms And Conditions

  • Event Pass terms now also say that session results and exports stay accessible after a pass expires (they do not after a refund), matching Studio billing and how the product works.
  • Refund and shelf-life wording stays the same: refundable only while never activated and within 14 days of the charge; an unused pass expires 6 months after purchase.

24 de septiembre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 24 de septiembre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Cookie Policy, Privacy Policy

  • Privacy preferences are handled by PollsLive's own consent banner, and each choice is stored for accountability.
  • Cloudflare Zaraz is disabled for pollslive.com and no longer sets analytics cookies.
  • The cookie policy now lists nextauth.message and Cloudflare Turnstile (cf.turnstile.u) among strictly necessary technologies.

24 de septiembre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 24 de septiembre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Terms And Conditions, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy

  • A refund on an earlier subscription no longer stops you getting the 14-day money-back refund on the first charge of a new subscription, on the same conditions as anyone else.
  • An Event Pass is refundable only while it has never been activated and is less than 14 days old. The Terms, checkout wording and refund policy now all say this, matching what Studio billing already does.
  • The statutory 14-day right of withdrawal is now stated for consumers in the United Kingdom as well as the EU and the EEA.
  • Features labelled beta or preview no longer claim to remove any refund or withdrawal right you have.
  • New accounts start opted out of product-feedback and research emails; turn them on in Studio settings if you want them. Existing choices are unchanged.
  • The privacy policy now says which retention limits are enforced automatically, that contact-form messages are deleted by hand, and that we do not ask for a date of birth at sign-up.
  • The cookie policy now lists the Cloudflare security cookie and the sign-in cookies, says that the two Cloudflare Zaraz analytics cookies are currently set when a page first loads and that we are extending the consent banner to control them, and explains that your cookie choice lasts 12 months before we ask again.

24 de septiembre de 2026: Sustancial

En vigor desde el 10 de noviembre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Terms And Conditions, Acceptable Use, Privacy Policy

  • Workspace owners must have a lawful basis, privacy notice, and any required consent for participant data they collect; breach is a material Terms violation.
  • AI features: we do not train our own models on your content, and where provider terms allow we configure no foundation-model training; new Acceptable Use rules cover AI misuse.
  • New mutual confidentiality section; competing-product and benchmarking bans; customer purchase orders are void unless we sign them.
  • Paid plans get a limited platform IP indemnity from us (with carve-outs). Collecting PHI or other forbidden regulated data is at your sole risk and triggers indemnity.
  • Participants who join without an account are bound by the applicable Terms sections. New Copyright and DMCA notice page and legal document archive.

23 de septiembre de 2026: Sustancial

En vigor desde el 10 de noviembre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Terms And Conditions, Refund Policy

  • We no longer offer a free trial on Pro or Premium. New subscriptions are billed when you complete checkout.
  • The 14-day money-back guarantee on your first paid charge still applies, but only if you cancel within 14 days of that charge and have not hosted a live session with more than 10 participants.
  • If you qualify, cancelling or using Request a refund in Studio issues the refund automatically and paid access ends right away.
  • Outside that window, or after a live session with more than 10 participants, you can cancel at the end of your billing period and renewal charges are not refundable.
  • If you are already on a free trial started before this change, your trial continues on the terms you accepted at checkout.

1 de septiembre de 2026: No sustancial

En vigor desde el 1 de septiembre de 2026

Documentos actualizados: Terms And Conditions, Refund Policy, Legal Notice, Withdrawal Form

  • Subscriptions no longer waive your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. If you are an EU or EEA consumer you keep that right; we may keep a proportionate amount for the period we already supplied.
  • Refunds inside the 14-day money-back window are now issued automatically from your Studio billing page - no reason needed and no one has to approve them.
  • An Event Pass is still refundable only before you activate it, and you now confirm that explicitly at checkout.
  • A refund ends paid access, and the 14-day guarantee applies once per customer.
  • The free trial on Pro annual is now 7 days (it was 21). This affects new purchases only.
  • We published the EU model withdrawal form, and named a Grievance Officer for users in India.
