How to share and embed your poll (link, QR, WhatsApp, website)

Every way to get your PollsLive poll in front of people - a share link, a QR code, WhatsApp and Telegram, and an embed you can drop into any website.

By the PollsLive team·How-toEvents

A poll is only as good as your ability to get people into it. PollsLive gives you a handful of ways to share, and the right one depends on whether your audience is in the room with you or scattered across the internet.

For a room in front of you: the join PIN and QR

When you click Present live, the host console shows a 6-digit join PIN and a QR code. Read the PIN aloud or let people scan the code - either way they are in with no app and no account. This is the fastest path for a meeting, class, or event.

For anyone, anytime: publish a link

Click Publish & share and your poll gets a permanent home at pollslive.com/p/your-poll, with its own link and QR. You can set a custom link so the URL reads the way you want. Share that link however you like - it works whether someone opens it now or next week.

Straight to chat apps

From the share panel you can send the poll (or its results) straight to WhatsApp, Telegram, X, LinkedIn, Facebook, or email, and copy the link with one tap. For results specifically, PollsLive can generate a branded recap image - a clean card with the numbers and a QR - that looks right when pasted into a group chat.

Embed it in your own site

For a published poll or survey you also get an embed - a small snippet you paste into your own page so people can vote without leaving your site. It works on WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, Notion, Ghost, and plain HTML. The code looks like this:

Embed a poll in any web page
<iframe
  src="https://pollslive.com/embed/your-poll"
  width="100%"
  height="600"
  style="border:0"
  title="Live poll"
  loading="lazy"
></iframe>

Swap your-poll for your poll's slug (the bit after /p/ or /embed/), and adjust the height to fit. That is it - a live poll running inside your own page.

In the room, share the PIN. Everywhere else, share the link - and embed it when you want the poll to live on your own page.

Sharing is step three of running a live poll - see the two-minute walkthrough for the whole flow.
