We built PollsLive because the tools we loved - Mentimeter, Slido - charged for every organizer, every presenter, everything. We thought that was wrong. So we fixed it.
Our mission
Every room - a classroom, a conference hall, a remote all-hands - has a majority that stays silent. Not because they have nothing to say, but because the tools to say it cost too much, require an app, or take five minutes to set up.
PollsLive makes that silence optional. One link. Scan the QR. The room answers. Results land on screen in real time. No installs, no organizer or per-presenter fees, no friction.

How we got here
2024
First poll, first vote
We shipped the first async polling MVP - a dead-simple link you share and watch fill up with votes. Zero accounts required.
2025
Live sessions launch
Real-time Kahoot-style sessions with PIN join, presenter console, Q&A, quizzes, and leaderboards. Multiplayer draft editing with Y.js CRDT.
2026
Developer platform
REST API v1, OAuth 2.0 client credentials, webhooks, per-key usage analytics, and a Postman collection. Teams can build PollsLive into their workflows.

Still building
Templates, AI generation, and deeper integrations are what we're working on now. We ship small and often, and we'd rather hear what's missing than guess - the contact form goes to a person.
How we compare
We respect Mentimeter and Slido - they pioneered live polling. But charging €75+/month per workspace, locking Q&A behind enterprise plans, and capping free users at 50 participants didn't sit right with us.
