Live voting for nonprofits, associations, and AGMs
Counting hands at an AGM is slow, disputable, and impossible online. Here's how community organizers run transparent live votes - motions, board elections, and member feedback - with no app for members.
A volunteer who chairs a community association described their AGM vote: a show of hands, a squint across the hall, a re-count when someone disputed it, and no clean way to include the members who'd joined on a video call. Moving the vote to members' phones made it faster, countable, and - crucially - the same for the people in the room and the people online.

Beyond the formal vote
- Gather member feedback with an open-ended question and group the responses into themes live - far better than a comment box nobody reads.
- Take the room's temperature on a proposal with a 1-5 scale before the formal motion, so debate is informed.
