Yes. You can make a poll without an account. The free plan covers 3 published polls, 500 answers each, and up to 50 people answering live at the same time. No card needed.
Do people need an app or an account to answer?
No. They scan a QR code, follow a link, or type a 6-digit code. It runs in the browser on any phone.
How is this different from Slido or Mentimeter?
Same live polls, quizzes and Q&A - different bill. They charge per presenter and bill for a year up front. PollsLive Pro is one flat $50/yr for 10 people, billed monthly if you prefer, and there is a one-time Event Pass if you only need one conference.
Can I use it in a classroom?
Yes. There are no student accounts and nothing to install. Students join with a code or a QR on any phone or laptop.
Do I need to install anything?
No. There is no add-in for PowerPoint, no plugin for Zoom, and no app for your audience. You build the poll in a browser and put a six-digit code or a QR on your slide - so there is usually nothing for IT to approve.
